The Muskross traditional Farms re-open for the 2014 season in March. Following the long winter break, the staff at Muckross Traditional Farms, are hard at work preparing to welcome visitors back for their 2014 season.
The Bean an Tís have donned their aprons and are busy cleaning their farm houses, churning homemade butter and baking homemade griddle & soda bread on the open fires. The farm labourers are busy at work, preparing the land for the year ahead and welcoming the new-born arrivals such as lambs, piglets, calves and many more animals. A new addition to the Farms this year is The Schoolhouse, complete with Schoolmaster ready to greet his "pupils" and to pass on some old school memories.
So why not step back in time with a visit to Muckross Traditional Farms and experience the magic and uniqueness of this wonderful setting for yourself. Afterwards wind down with a relaxing and indulgent break at the traditional Killarney Royal, for more information on prices & packages, please click here.
