Torc Waterfall

Torc Waterfall is a must see when visiting the Kingdom of Kerry. The beautiful waterfall is situated 5 miles from Killarney town in Killarney National Park flowing down from the stunning mountains around Killarney. From the top you can see magnificent views of the countryside, mountains and lakes. The waterfall is approximately 20 metres high and is at its best after heavy rainfall.

Torc Waterfall is approximately a 15 minute drive from Killarney Royal and is also accessible by bicycle which is approximately a 30 minute journey. Our reservation or reception team will be delighted to assist you with any directions and information you may require.

The waterfall originates from the a glacial lake known as the Devil's Punchbowl at the top of the Mangerton Mountain and it once supplied water to Killarney town. The walk up to the waterfall is a stretch of the legs however makes for a great photo opportunity at the top. There are also steps up to the top of the waterfall if you are feeling energetic.
